As the old saying goes, "two heads are better than one," particularly when they are fun and creative. We're excited to have put our heads together with Jamie Tisch, a dynamo business woman and Aspen Art Museum Board Member, and acclaimed interior designers, Rodman Primack and Rudy F. Weissenberg, to collaboratively create an eye-catching cashmere textile collection in contrasting, bold color combinations that will transform any room.

“A shared admiration for striking design and luxurious textiles inspired our collaboration on this debut collection of stunning throws,“ explains Jamie Tisch.

“Bold colors like fern green paired with dark navy or azalea with saffron evoke a daring personality and elegance that’s refreshing and memorable,” states, Rodman Primack.

“We embrace and love color - it inspires us! We launched AGO Projects in Aspen this summer as a pop-up to curate a mix of art and decor from local and international artists and makers. Now, we’re here to stay as Pitkin Projects, and we’re incredibly excited to be part of this vibrant community, “ adds Rudy F. Weissenberg.

The collection integrates Pitkin Projects’ eye-catching use of vibrant colors and hues with Hangai’s signature bird’s eye design to create outstanding pieces that are knit from sustainably hand-combed Mongolian cashmere. “The bird's eye collection evokes the expanse of the Mongolian steppe peppered with livestock, and the land where sky meets earth for as far as the eye can see,” explains Bill Infante.

“We are thrilled to partner with Jamie, Rodman and Rudy to create this punchy collection. They inspired me with their energizing aesthetic and their commitment to showcasing up-and-coming makers and accomplished artists. We are, after all, in the roaring 20s so let’s make it memorable and enjoy the shift to daring colors!” says Betina Infante

The new Pitkin Projects X Hangai collection will be available at the Pitkin Projects Store on 516 E. Hyman Ave in Aspen, and on New section of our website. https://hangaimountaintextiles.com/new-collection/
